SpeakThis is a service of PaperChore. It writes drafts of speeches and tributes (wedding speeches and toasts, eulogies and obituaries) from the notes you give it, using automated (AI) writing and automated checks.
You review and deliver. Drafts can contain errors. You are responsible for reading every draft before you use it, checking names, dates and stories, completing or removing each [FILL IN], and for what you say or publish. Obituaries should be checked with family and with the funeral home or publication, which set their own rules, deadlines and fees.
Honest, kind use only. Don't use SpeakThis to write about people in a way that is false, cruel, harassing or that reveals private information they wouldn't want shared, or to impersonate someone.
Your content. Only submit stories and text you have the right to share. You keep all rights to your notes and to the drafts; you let us process them only to provide the service.
Purchases. Each purchase unlocks one speech or tribute: Speech ($19) includes the full text, 2 redrafts, editing, delivery notes and downloads; Premium ($29) adds cue cards, a teleprompter view, a companion piece and 5 redrafts in total; an upgrade from Speech to Premium is $10. Purchases are one-time, with no subscription. Previews are free. Drafts are kept for a limited time (see the Privacy Policy), so download anything you want to keep.
Fair use. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive use. The service is provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
Emails. Using the service means we email you sign-in links and receipts you request. After buying a wedding speech we may send one follow-up email asking how it went; we never send one after a eulogy or obituary. We send newsletters only if you confirm a sign-up, and every follow-up or newsletter email has an unsubscribe link that we honor. See the Privacy Policy for details.
